From books to cutlery to plants, almost anything you can imagine, has been replicated in miniature. There are props and accessories that come with play line dolls, up to exquisitely created pieces by Miniature Artisans, there's a 'miniature' for almost everyone’s tastes.
My continued fascination, stems from my fondness for Re-ment’s depiction of everyday items in miniature; having realistic miniatures allows me to create lifelike scenes of everyday activities... imagine a scene where someone is preparing coffee, chopping vegetables, or even choosing a notebook from a bookshelf!! or perhaps a tiny kitchen that can fit in the palm of your hand... its all possible in miniature!
Coffee maker, cutting boards, and stationery, pharmacy shelves....just a few miniatures from Re-ment^^ and a 1:150 scale kitchen
Every doll needs a prop, an accessory! something that adds to the character of the doll.
Imagine a doll that is sold to represent a scientist, we would expect her to come with a white lab coat and other items that we associate with a scientist! If these pieces are missing, how else will it be evident that they can play the role of a scientist since they don't have the relevant tools (props).
